SERIES IV.Vi

Using 
the Series V magnesium arm tube, along with ABEC-7 bearings, the Series IV.Vi is 
designed specifically with moving coil cartridges in mind. 50 guage Magnan type 
Vi internal wiring provides sonic excellence, along with virtually zero 
mechanical impedance on the bearings. Tracking force is applied statically, 
further reducing any mechanical impedance on the bearing. FD-IV tonearm lateral 
damping device included to optimize cartridge performance. Adjustable cue height 
to accommodate different turntable configurations. No tonearm cable

ABEC-7 bearings, van den Hul mono crystal silver internal wire, van den Hul 501

tungsten counter weight and a highly accurate thumbwheel adjustable VTA makes

Breaking new price barriers for SME, the new Model 10 turntable/tonearm 
combination will prove to be a formidable contender against any competition. New 
for SME is the use of a low, "virtually liquid" durometer elastomer material for 
the suspension system and a round sub-chassis to reduce resonant planes. The new 
Model 10 tonearm is unique in that it uses the cast magnesium arm tube from the 
Series V, and the detachable headshell from the Series 309, making the Model 10 
tonearm both high performance and versatile. The outboard power supply has 33

including the main bearing, platter design, and suspension system. At far less

MODEL 30
SME Model 30 -

The 
ultimate turntable. The Model 30 is compact and incredibly dense, weighing in at 
90 lbs. The Model 30 employs an ingenious suspension system, using a combination 
of elastomers and silicone to achieve an almost zero Q suspension. The main 
bearing which supports the over 15 lb. platter has such tight tolerances it 
requires a diluted watch oil to be properly lubricated! The SME platter mat has 
a unique combination of high shear stiffness and effective vertical damping to 
eliminate the energy feedback from the platter back into the record. The 
mechanically decoupled brushless three-phase motor eliminates cogging to ensure 
precise speed control, and also provides high torque to pull through the highest 
of dynamic passages with breeze. The combination of compact high mass, 
non-resonant materials, and speed stability in the motor/bearing assembly, 
provides a playback system that will astonish you with shear dynamics, clarity, 
and noise free background. All SME arms are compatible. Blank arm boards are 
available for other tonearms. The outboard power supply has 33, 45, and 78
